Help insurance

Were insured with markerstudy through AIB been best quote for the last few years my American classic is also insured with markerstudy through a different broker

Mine's now up for renewal, a 2005 Mercedes Geist Phantom 2.7L,156bhp, 7.3m, 4000m/pa, £29k. Adrian Flux last year was £230 with renewal offer £245. It seems reasonable enough to me so will likely just go with that, but have others insured similar any cheaper?

I have been with Adrian Flux 15 years ,I have a 1993 Citroen C25 cost me £209 with.keycare

£273 with flux 4 me matched by AIB recommended here that I’m with at moment with AXA . £40k bessacarr 9k miles with tracker incl L exp.

Any motorhome specialist insurers is worth a look, rather than main-steam/comparison sites, as a lot of valuable cover is left out (things like high value windscreens on A-Class motorhomes, personal effects, European Travel etc). Most have been mentioned here (Comfort/Safeguard/Caravan Guard/AIB/NFU), but it's worth really going through the small print on the level of cover.

I had a very bad experience with C &MC, who use Devitts. I’d stay well clear of them.
I very strongly agree. I'd not insure with them again under any circumstances. Unbelievably bad.

Been with Comfort many years, perfectly satisfied. Once got a quote from CMC, nearly twice the price!

Devitts add various fees on top of the commission the insurance company gives them. I managed to get a quotation for the same policy from the same insurer from AIB and Devitts.
The basic premium was the same, but Devitts had sneaked in £160 of spurious fees and charges.
I don't know how much commission C&MC get of this, but it does help explain why the continue to offer such a terrible broker as "their" product.
And believe me, they do know how awful Devitts are.
