Weather Report..................

You all might remember I said that fishing was on the agenda yesterday afternoon as I was in need of alternative accommodation due to a girlie meet up at our house. I also said that the forecast looked better where I was headed. Wrong, couldn’t see any trout flies for the rain bouncing off the surface .... I did catch up with my friends and they’ve grown .....

Today has been better, dry, less wind and quite warm when the sun tried to break through ............

Dry here too...but the skies look very suspicious to me!

Managed an hour of gardening and dug a massive rock out of my lawn! We live next to a river so the garden is full of ancient river rocks. This one was at least 40kg I would say: I had to get my sack truck out to move it to our (ever growing) rockery! It took a sack and half of topsoil to fill the hole!!

I might get a walk in after lunch and then maybe some more death by gardening!

Hertfordshire is settled under a patchy blue sky with a gentle breeze and a temperature of about 15°C right now. This afternoon showers are forecast so it'll be outdoor activity this morning and perhaps a fiddle inside the Moho this afternoon.

Well I wish the weather would make its blimming mind up! To describe what its trying to do now as mizzle would be an insult to mizzle tbh. It's enough to drive me back indoors as I don't need to do gardening in precipitation. I managed about 30 mins I reckon.

I'll give it another look after elevenses (which is at 10.30 perversely in our household :) )
