OMG I love that place we were crossing it me Sue and the Geeky one and we saw the biggest brightest rainbow I have ever seen in my life and my biggest regret that we did not get a photo of it. 😢
 
Storm Alexander decided not to bother us. Yesterday.

Couple of hours of windswept drizzle, wasn't enough to clean the roof off, but enough to P155 the builders off.... and wash some of the dust away.

Then the sun blew in as the wind changed direction.

They cracked on. . They'll be only a memory after working Monday, a Bank holiday here.

No rain forecast for yonks.

Ordered 5000 litres of water to arrive on Saturday..

He rang us , last night, from outside The Hovel while we were in the supermarket queue, 12 miles away,

Bless him.

In 20+ years this was the only time we've been held up on the only level crossing within 20 miles.

He was still waiting for us.
