We're back! New van ready to rock n roll!

Today I class our new van as finished! Taken me 6 mths and 1000 hours, but we're now finished enough to enjoy or put off till the sun comes out!
Can't wait - and already booked in to a few motorhomer events, so come and say hi. Our van is quite like us - its like a little black sheep

Its an L2H2 Ducato Sportivo model, 2 berth, fully kitted with the usual bits n bobs, and has everything in it for long off grid trips - including internal heated garage for bikes and snowboards!

For the geeks: 80L fresh internal; pressurised water; 60L waste with electric dump; Truma 10GE water; 5kw diesel & 2kw 240v heating; gas hob n sink; full wetroom/shower room with sink and c223 toilet; lots of LED lights; lighting board; mood lighting; bluetooth media; L shaped sofa/U shaped lounge option; double bed.

Not for everyone; colour/side/not fixed bed - but for us it is as planned and wanted

Sorry about that, only have my mobile to record!
Ball valve: https://amzn.to/3bgb6NF - just apply +12v to "open" and it closes automatically (has inbuilt capacitor/spring I believe)

Then just pipes and wire - not much to it - but very good! Had it on last van too, no issues.

Thanks, nail on head there! Hence self builds, esp "compromised" on smaller vans are always marmite. This will work for us, but will be unsuitable for others who think we're mad. It is functional and toy heavy - I did buy some Arundo kit to make it all controllable remotely and via a touchscreen - but decided it was pointless lol and just use switches

It'll be like a black sheep banished to the corner. (though I confess, we never wash the outside of the vans, so it may be greyer or muddier than the pictures!)
