Tools onboard

Just curious :D what tools do you carry onboard?
Complete set of Spanners, Pliers, Cutters, etc, for the mechanical type stuff ...

Plus the electrical stuff like fuses, connectors, screwdrivers, wire, screwdriver bit sets, etc for the more electrical stuff

Above includes Multimeter, Soldering Iron, plus Coreless Drill.
All (bar drill) goes into a Makita toolbox that lives in the previously redundant External Battery locker.

Probably don't really need to carry so many tools but it does mean I can do just about anything on the road that I am likely to want to do myself anywhere.
(If you have a place to carry the stuff, may as well do so instead of living it in the shed when you go away)

Hammer, gaffer tape, wire coat hangers, Spaniards & screwdivers (various), soldering iron, various bits of electric wire, cable ties and lots of string and rope, King Dick adjustable, lots of bits of hard white plasticky foamy stuff and a tube of still adhesive, industrial rubber bands, old towels!

Juck axle stand long bar/socket for wheel nuts flat bar for lifting wheel onto studs, jump leads tool roll electric tape torch wet gear to wear, warning triangle and flashing warning light, chocks for wheels, brake pipe hose clamp and AXA breakdown ph number.

I know where the sledgehammer is going to be put
Need more clues, Gordon; I'm guessing it involves a long'ish passage where the light fades rapidly and the stench grows to overpowering rather quickly, and where the odd roll of lino can be found ... (y)

I'm hoping we carry one of those little glasses repair kits you get in Christmas crackers, as the screw has just fallen out of my reading glasses onto the floor of the cab.🧐
You've seen the photo of all the tools I carry with me and will likely never use.... and you have just come up with a situation where I would be stuck :(
Time to add ANOTHER set of screwdrivers in the kit :D

You'd still be stuck, David; because, whilst you've got your glasses off to make the repair, you wouldn't be able to see well enough to make the repair ... :ROFLMAO: Rather like the BBC Staff Noticeboard years ago, 'Found, 1 pair of glasses' under which someone wrote, 'You'll need to write bigger; I've lost my glasses ...'

Never left home without my little kit (and needed it a couple of times over the years). But then I tried tightening the screws and putting a drop of Loctite on the underside of the screw. Problem solved.

Edited to add: One of these is also a must in order to find the lost screw. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Spot-...hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4584482456222403&psc=1

I just carry a bit of basic stuff for minor repairs, I do like tools though and call in to hardware shops all the time to ask, just in case, but I'm always told that no, they don't have anything to stop the noise from the passenger seat.

Besides the regular hand tools I also carry a digital multimeter, DC current clamp meter, Duck/Duct tape, aluminium/aluminum tape, various types of cord/rope, steel wire, 12V compressor, bicycle tool box, cordless drill, cordless crafts multitool, a CCCP army spade/axe/hammer/saw tool, a 25mm bushcraft scotch eye auger and my Leatherman multi tool. :D

Ahh but do you have a 10mm socket.

My tool bag is 50% rust think there’s a plough and an old cranking handle for a tractor in there somewhere.
I have an old ratcheting screw driver set with bits which includes sockets from 7 to 13 and the equivalent in inch fractions. The same with the allen keys:p

What ever I carry needs sorting. I’ll do it next time. I might have said that last time. What ever I do carry, my RAC card is more important.
Oppy’s got it sorted 😬

Phill found the screw. He loves a challenge. I found a screwdriver on my non-Victorinox Swiss Army knife copy. The tiny one with a plastic handle that screws into the corkscrew - sorted.😁🥸
