How long does your laptop battery last???

I hadn't noticed but when I turned mine on at 07:15 I had pulled the plug out, I just got a pop up 12% remaining @ 10:45 for a 2016 Dell Latitude E5570 I reckon that's pretty amazing.

Three and a half hours?
My 2018 laptop only charges to 80% by default (this is to extend the battery's life), so it is good for about seven hours on battery. I didn't think that was very good.

No idea, but it’s more than 8 hours as I used to use it on long haul flights a lot before I retired last year.

They can be very powerful. The m2 chip is the same as in many recent MacBooks and the latest pro even has the m4. Up to 2tb storage too.

Doing serious work on an ipad isn't limited by the processor power. It's limited by being an ipad.

If you battery is that bad, don't use it. It's a posible fire risk.
Your laptop may work with no bettery fitted, but if it won't, stop using the laptop until the new battery arrives.

Plenty of good after-market ones on Ebay but check feedback first of the ones that only sell batteries.

Liz got 9nw last year for her dell, 11 years old, just do an ebay search if it's okay otherwise, easy to fit usually too.

Seriously, try installing Zorin. It's free and easy to install alongside Windows.
It's similar enough that you'll have no problems using it. The only possible issue is that programs with the same functions are not all called the same thing as they are on Windows.
