How long does your laptop battery last???

No need to be a geek just tell us the make and model and we'll do what we can.

Seriously, try installing Zorin. It's free and easy to install alongside Windows.
It's similar enough that you'll have no problems using it. The only possible issue is that programs with the same functions are not all called the same thing as they are on Windows.
Since I switched to a tablet I have less need for my old laptop so think retirement is looming . Also my printer has died due to lack of use .

Had zorin on sons pc, found a few things not doable easy, best is mint or second to that lite but it does require a bit of setting up after installation.

I can't think of anything that's tricky on Zorin. It seems very much less of a leap for a Windows user. I've never liked Mint. Not really sure why not.
