Are you going this route because you don't have the LPG Truma water heater?

I dont have any water heater Dell, just calorifier from engine when its running

The built in element is 1KW but still a big hit

1kW is not too bad. Around 100A and will run for around 2 minutes per Litre at that power.
(I tried to find a smaller element for my heater but nothing available)

Solar power is starting to come into play up here in Scotland
my 400W array peaking at 270W today which is ok for April up here. 1.5% down on Battery power over the last 24 hours but as well as the fridge, that includes the 2kW Hot Water kicking on this afternoon when the SOC hit 99%.
