I've not said where they need to be fused .just said are they fused at the other end of cables.

True but I think it is important to be clear that putting fuses at the wrong end of the cable does involve risks. Your posts left this open to interpretation.

My battery to battery links are fused at bothe ends, to be safe to be safe.
