To many sealed drive ways. Too many housing estates and too many people.I just can't get my head around where it all comes from. It's a vast volume of water...

Farson Digital Watercams - Hi-def webcam on River Wye, at Hereford
Hi-def webcam at Hereford offering up to the second live imagery on River Wye. With regular river reports from the area, and an extensive archive of images from the past days, months and even years, this is the greatest way to view the beauty of Hereford and see how fishing conditions develop.www.farsondigitalwatercams.com
That sucks.Just spoke to Mel and the water is still rising, they are expecting the building to flood soon. There is not a dry patch left now on the small field and the big field (which is lower) is a lake.

Paul was ahead of the game, the caravan was one of the first things to go, he's lost one before and obviously didn't need a repeat.Good to see Paul moved his caravan this time

I think you'll find it comes from Wales, literally. The catchment area for the Wye is not full of housing estates and paved driveways, more mountains and valleys. I live less than 100m from the Monnow which feeds into the Wye and the speed of the rise and fall is unbelievable. I had heard that the Wye has the second fastest rise and fall in England, but not sure where I heard it from.To many sealed drive ways. Too many housing estates and too many people.
.
The club survived and so did the caravan this time
We look forward to having you guys back in 2022.
Merry Christmas everyone!!
Mel, Paul and the team.
