I have one of these;

Surprisingly good sound, with the added bonus that they can be plugged into a TV with the supplied lead, Bluetoothed to a MP3 or your phone to play music, or used as a hands free kit.
I have sent an email asking if this has 3.5mm audio in connection or how else it connects to a tv. Cheap Soundbar
I recently changed the stereo in our van Jennie as the old one didn’t have RDS so constantly losing station when moving, got a new Sony that will connect two phones at same time and let’s me play music/audiobooks from my iPhone using Bluetooth or a cable, also has usb connection. Wasn’t a lot of money but I did go for another Sony so more than the £45 offerings on but can double check if you want to know model, price, supplier. I could do it with audio in and long cable I think but not sure how long a cable you can use for this so maybe not.
Will update when I hear back from TV-Village
If you buy the right cable type of a reasonable quality you should be of for 10 - 15 metres, just ensure its kept away from other cables as much as you can. also make sure you have a suitable Aux in on the stereo and a line out on the TV (not the Headphone socket)
I'd be interested in the details Nabs. I've been toying with the idea of changing the van stereo too... another item for the ever-growing wishlist!![]()
Thanks Nabs... you make it sound very easyIt doesn't look as thought the model you bought includes a CD player, which I'd like to keep, so some consumer research required. I'll start by investigating what my current one is!
Apologies to Biggarmac for temporarily hijacking your thread. Hope you find a good solution for your TV![]()
My Cello TV is very quiet as it is at the other end of the van from the front seat. Has anyone added a speaker? What speaker and how did you do it?
I use headphones as I normally only watch the TV in the van if I am on my own. It also means that I do not disturb anyone else with my noise.
