I just can't get my head around where it all comes from. It's a vast volume of water...

To many sealed drive ways. Too many housing estates and too many people.

Good to see Paul moved his caravan this time
Paul was ahead of the game, the caravan was one of the first things to go, he's lost one before and obviously didn't need a repeat.
I shouldn't be surprised at how quickly it floods but I was.
Just as well we weren't there, it would have been organised chaos.
Oh well on to the next meet when the grass will be back, freshly washed and hopefully the weather will be much dryer.

Such a shame the meet had to be cancelled but there was no other choice. Thanks to everyone who had a hand in organising everything....it's always greatly appreciated. This is my favourite place for a meet.....just have to wait till 2022 now!!!
I hope the club and the surrounding houses are all okay.
Cheers Chris

I think you'll find it comes from Wales, literally. The catchment area for the Wye is not full of housing estates and paved driveways, more mountains and valleys. I live less than 100m from the Monnow which feeds into the Wye and the speed of the rise and fall is unbelievable. I had heard that the Wye has the second fastest rise and fall in England, but not sure where I heard it from.

Hey guys.
We are gutted you couldn't make it this weekend.
The club survived and so did the caravan this time :)
We look forward to having you guys back in 2022.

Merry Christmas everyone!!

Mel, Paul and the team.
