I had a bike ride along the coast and up to the castle at Peniscola yesterday. The castle is incredibly well preserved and has been used as a setting for many films. There is the usual information board in the major tourist languages detailing all this. It starts off:
Reminds me that when automatic train crossing barriers were first installed in Yorkshire there was a problem with people stopping at the crossing and then setting off as the train approached.
"Wait while Lights Flash" has a different meaning on the wrong side of the Pennines !
