So a 2 part thread.
1 digital stills ..
Many cameras can include. A date stamp. Within the image.
Although I do not like this it can help as copying images can cause the dad
The stamp of the. File to change.
This has happened to me revently in copying images over wifi snd also to NAS storage.
(Similarly with dashcam)
Most of my images this year have the date stamp in the image.
This is handy but can be removed.
There are clever ways to do this but with my images simple cropping is simplest and usually also enhances the edited image which will obviously now have a new file date stamp.
Maybe save it with a suitable name is 29thJuly 01 etc.
Dashcam footage can include the date stamp but again I prefer not to.
Either do a clapperboard wth the date or simply speak it at the beginning of recording..
This can be edited out when compiling a project using many of the clips.
I usually have a folder per day for the raw footage.
I am sure others will have their solutions but today The date issue seemed more of a problem than usual.
