Do you wave?

sometimes.......just depends........found those with smaller vans, as is ours, usually recieved a wave in return....however, the larger vans, we found, didnt bother to acknowlege.........generalizing there, however,...........return wave was very far between............Ummmm

Yes, I wave. I recently changed to a PVC and find that many other campers think I'm a delivery driver, but it doesn't faze me.

It took me a while to spot other small campers, but I'm getting better at it.

So I'll continue waving.

.

Yes I do and people wave back but I sometimes think that some motorhome drivers need to get a grip waving across a 3/4 lane motorway is just a step too far for me, even across a dual carriageway is dodgy but it seems some have to take this waving to the extreme. ??

Agree with the motorway bit, although maybe it’s because you are being recognized as a cult hero Annie ????

I have been known to wave but sometimes I forget how many fingers you should use.
????
One for lady driver , two for men but then there is the dick head wave fist slightly clenched on forehead with a forward motion and not forgetting the w@nking wave for special drivers hand slightly clenched arm out of window with an up and down waving motion you can in extreme circumstances shout an explanation of this wave just in case the other driver doesn’t recognise that particular wave it also relieves your momentary stress

Always wave even to smaller vans...sometimes though they’re not campervans but work vans! Ooh well they’ll be thinking all day who it was..lol Tesco vans are my specialty haha sometimes wave to Robbies Tours mini buses especially in Scotland! I find that sometimes some of the smaller vans don’t usually wave back but for me I always wave ?

I used to but gave up after getting fed up with other motorhomers just looking straight through me.

I don't 'wave' as such and never bother on Motorways/Dual Carriageways. I will briefly raise a hand to acknowledge the presence of another van on Single Carriageways.

You must have been following me a lot.

I always wave at other motorhomes I see on the road, do you?
If I see them yes, sometimes after being out in the van I forget which vehicle I'm in so if you are ever around Notts way and a learner car passenger is waving at you it will be me ?
