I don't do well with tequila. Look what was in the shopping... Bugger.

So after a few beers a long island iced tea seemed like a good idea.

It was alright, but not as good as I've had in proper cocktail bars...

Louise had a Cosmo, long island and vodka cranberry blush

We've been watching some of the Brixham pirate day music festival today, so it seems right to have a bit of Rum today :) Starting with a couple of decent ones, this is simply delicious 😋

Queen Cleo spiced from the little rum company who had a pop-up bar in (?) Stratford-upon-avon. Nice, and unusually for these fancy distillery types, was quite cheap.

Commiserations, it looks just like ours, now sadly departed. It lasted just long enough to reach the date of our departure to Italy, excellent timing but some b****r moved the goal posts.

Bugger. Hope you've managed to restock with something suitable?

Boy enjoying his dinner I cooked, it seemed only right and proper to accompany it with a beer :)

I know it’s off beat from the origin content hut assistance required!!!
How long is bottled whisky likely to remain sound. I have a 9 year old bottle half full of my dads glenfiddick that has not been drunk as I am not a big fan as will be clear.
Am I likely to poison myself? What a way to go, maybe!!!
It would have been his 97th birthday today, will it keep to his 100th???
My guess is that a bottle of Glenfiddich ought to be good for about 100 years or so.

I don’t touch whisky either even though I collect from all various distillery’s
folk think I love it but to be honest the smell even puts me off
