Dumped in Spain

I came to Spain with a partner but he's just spent 4 days golfing with his mates and wants to continue doing that, so I'm facing the prospect of continuing the drive myself back.. Do I continue to drive myself around and spend the winter here or drive back to the UK? I live with him in his house in the uk and we only met in January . I'm ok with driving just a bit worried on some junctions where it's difficult to see on a blind exit with a RHD vehicle.

..dont hang around DUMP HIM and his BAGGAGE at the 5th hole he sounds selfiish....and you deserve better.....??????

seriously tho Ffion there is only you can decide what you want........
spain is warmer in winter than uk........good luck

Live ur own dream in the sun .
Probably easier to say than do though!!!

Might make sense to get on a campsite for a while, to get your mind organised.
You might meet a lonely millionaire. Hope he's not a tugger.

Hi Ffion. I'm not sure which part of Spain you're currently in (I suspect the southern Costas if golf is being played). Why not take your time rather than rushing into a plan that you may regret? Perhaps you could meet up with some like minded mohoers in Spain, gather your thoughts and then move forward?
We are currently a group of three lone (not lonely) men just about to cross into Spain and potter down the coast to Portugal over the coming weeks. There's lots of others doing similar, many of whom frequent this and Wild Camping websites.
Feel free to PM me if you want to chat about options.
Take care, have fun - and don't rush ahead is my advice.

Colin ???

Ffion......A few practicalities to consider ahead..All motorhome based
Where is your MoHo Registered as being kept (DVLA) similar for driving licence and insurance.
Similar for Bank etc etc. We use a Mail forwarding address.
Do not rush but depending on your "UK home" these will need to be sorted.
PM me if you wish to know exactly how this can work.

I still have my van registered to a mail forwarding address besides for his and.some mail still goes to his which I'll sort out,. Thanks for the advice

Agree with other advice. We are starting our first UK winter in 4 years. Thermals out already and it’s not yet really got cold.

As for driving, it’s not that bad solo. I brought the van back from Antibes last autumn on my own, avoiding peages. You just have to angle the nose at junctions so you can see. OH is often sleeping anyway and he blocks my view more! If you do stop at road lay stations, just take your time to put handbreak on, undo seatbelt, slide across etc. Once the barrier is up, it will stay up till you pass.

ahh...alls well again the Ffion............enjoy your adventure in spain and lap it up.........Good luck......and thanks for letting us know the outcome..........take care

There’s a cracking pitch and put in Benidorm take him there every couple of days get it out his system if that doesn’t work saw his clubs in half?
Which club??

Sawing them in half is hard work..Just dump them in the sea or a lake...Or conveniently forget them somewhere.

must say, I have never and will never see the appeal of golf (especially watching it!)
