They have changed the law again so no problems now. The ban on wild camping has been in place for years, but only enforced on over crowded beaches. We have travelled months at a time in Greece and only been asked by a taverna owner once to move … we were nowhere near his place, but moved anyway.

Thanks for that info and it’s good to hear
 
If you have only got a couple of weeks, then the route that we have just done is more than do able and some fantastic places, from here you can head across to Dieppe or North to Calais, however as we have got plenty of time we have now headed south, arriving at one of our favourite Aires and the sun is shining, happy days
 
Were they Guising? that's not until the end of October
 
In my defence. It was bloody cold, and Debbie ( of Bouydog fame) had given this crocheted blanket.
And no, I don’t care for the photo. But the blanket is brill. Thank you Debs
