Chicken Curry and Rice, washed down with a cool bottle of Budweiser. Trouble is the smell of curry embeds itself into everything. Very easy to cook, marinate whilst you're driving. 25 minutes at 180 degrees and 12 minutes for the Rice. BINGO

Had cromer crab with crusty bread and loads of butter today, accompanied by watercress ( to make it less calorific!) 😋 Perfect for a day when can't be asked to cook!

I think supper means a late meal Trev, not summat before bed. :giggle:
My supper usually means trawling the cupboards then trying really hard not to eat what's in there.

We had some Tesco Finest fish fingers the other day. Not cheap at £3 for 6 but they bore no relation to 'normal' fish fingers. Wife loves fish and she was impressed with them!

I'm making corned beef hash tonight which I only started making a few months ago but which has gone firmly into our top 5 favourite meals now. I finely chop a red chilli and put that in it for a little kick.

The only problem is quantity. I attempt to use a as little spud as possible for health/diet reasons but then I think it looks too measly for the two of us, so do more...then there is always too much! Not great for the weight loss.

I like a Cholesterol sandwich !
Toast then a slice of ham a pineapple slice (tinned) cheese.
Grilled and then topped with a fried egg !
Yes I have booked my pitch in the graveyard !
Probably corned beef is as bad! And it does include one of your five a day? ;)

I trim the white lard off the corned beef prior to use to try and kid myself that its then healthier.

God I love corned beef. We were very poor when I was a kid so only had it in sandwiches on school trip days.

When I was a Kid we would toasted bread over the open coal fire. Always tasted good!
Yum Yum
We now have a Bounty Bar or a Packet Crisps (n)
