If that's L'Albir, that was last seen in Spain! There doesn't seem to be anywhere in France with that nameGarage in Albir a week ago was 177 just passed today it is at 159 euro,

I believe the islands are tax free, or use to be?Meanwhile, on Fuerteventura today petrol at €1.34. Always amazes me how I can be paying much less for fuel on a volcanic island in the Atlantic than I do anywhere else in Europe. Especially the UK.
They do this in America. Pay up front, in case the car does a runner after fuelling up.Total seem to be cheaper than the supermarkets again, according to Fuel Flash. I filled up at the Total in Toul (near Nancy) this morning at €2.09 per litre.
A bizarre system though, the pumps weren't pay at pump, you had to get to the punp, then go into the shop and get the card pre-authorised for an amount you specify. This, combined with being the cheapest in the arwa, resulted in a slow queue!
Don't understand why ALL our Pumps in the UK are like thatThey do this in America. Pay up front, in case the car does a runner after fuelling up.
Agreed, I imagine though, as existing older pumps are replaced with card payment pumps, like at Costco and Applecross community fuel pump, pay at kiosk will disappear.Don't understand why ALL our Pumps in the UK are like that![]()
Not sure that kiosks will entirely disappear. Since the filling station at my local Morrisons transferred to MFG, they've actually disabled pay-at-pump!Agreed, I imagine though, as existing older pumps are replaced with card payment pumps, like at Costco and Applecross community fuel pump, pay at kiosk will disappear.
Not everyone will have credit card though, not sure the work around for anyone without a card?
