Well in need help,,is there any one that is going to this event that can give injections I need to have my Hormone therapy jab on 18th June.. i can bring it with me,before I start looking for a local person.(orkney)

Hi Phil, just had a look at Northlink Ferries and tried a dummy booking to see if prices were available yet. Scrabster to Stromness return 18th/24th is £253.80 for a six metre van. Should I book it or are negotiations for a discount still progressing? Sorry to pester but someone said they get full very quickly.

On a separate matter, they ask for van length but there is nowhere to add that you have a bike rack on the back. Does anyone know if I should include it in the overall van length?

Include it in your overall length as they were measuring vehicles the last time we went.
I would give Phil a little longer to see if he can negotiate with them

It will be the end of March before I know about the discounts, I would wait until then.

Please can we be added to the reserve list. We are 7.5m long, could make due without ehu.
Many thanks.

Good News and Bad News!

We have been given a ferry discount, however, it is 30% rather than the 50% we have enjoyed before.

The email states:

Hi Phil,

Thank you for applying for NorthLink Ferries sponsorship - please accept my apologies for the delay getting your agreement to you.

I'm pleased to let you know that you have been awarded Level 1 Visitor Discount: a 30% discount on standard passenger, vehicle, sleeping pod fares and cabin rates.

This is slightly less than the 50% discount offered in previous years, but I’m afraid we’d had our sponsorship budget slashed at the same time as receiving more applications than ever before! I hope it doesn’t cause too much disappointment.

I will contact you all shortly with the discount code so that you can book your ferry.

Phil

Just took a look at ferry cost all around £280
Before discount ,,how's that sound.
