All nights please. SilverbeardMaximum 35 vans
ANOTHER new venue for 2024, thank you to Simon & Jane (Burstner boy) for putting this venue forward
Located in the stunning town of Stone, The Cricket club is within a very short walk to the town centre, with shops, bars, restaurants etc., Stone is a canal town, so has pleasant walks and is also near to Trentham Gardens, Wedgewood and more, also on the first Saturday of every Month is the very popular farmers market, and we will be there for that weekend, Friday evening we will have a mobile van on site selling currys and pizza (TBC)
Just to add: Stone has a few genuine real ale pubs such as the Swan, the Royal Exchange, the brewery tap at the Lymestone Brewery, Bod and the Crown Wharf.
There are also some great eateries such as Butchers Block, Crown of India and Granvilles.
There is a Morrisons, M&S and an Aldi.
We will have access to a private room/bar area every evening
The venue has fresh water, elsan point, toilets, shower, rubbish disposal
Well behaved dogs (on a lead) are welcome to join us, they are also welcome in the clubhouse
Entertainment in the bar
Thursday TBC
Friday TBC
Saturday TBC
Sunday TBC
The price is £15 per van per night, I know this is slightly more than we normally pay but I can assure you that it is worth every penny, the town and the surrounding area is stunning.

Saw Mike Harding c 1988, when he said that on his last tour, he had advised against purchasing a Reliant Robin because they were hopeless for romantic interludes, due to the risk of overturning.Yes Please Jeff, book us in for all nights.
I remember enjoying the company of a young lady from Stone when I was just a whippersnapper and I took her to see Mike Harding at a folk club...she wasnt impressed and the relationship never progressed. Her loss
Mike Harding still makes me laugh, he also makes the current Mrs Brenton laugh too which is probably why i married her and not the 'Lady from (or of!) Stone'Saw Mike Harding c 1988, when he said that on his last tour, he had advised against purchasing a Reliant Robin because they were hopeless for romantic interludes, due to the risk of overturning.
But, 'I played Hull and a local guy approached me backstage and said I was wrong; because if you drive it down a back lane or similar, the passageway will be too narrow for the Reliant to overturn, and you're also much closer to the lady of your desires ...'
Steve
His show was just a succession of laughs and long stories, especially the saga of agreeing to look after the girl in the opposite flat's budgie over Xmas. Of course the bird died, and, because 'I only drink on 2 occasions, when it's raining and when it's not ...' he missed the chance to replace the budgie before the pet shop closed, so he bought a live turkey and took it to the pub in a Tesco carrier bag that had 2 holes cut in for the bird's legs to walkMike Harding still makes me laugh, he also makes the current Mrs Brenton laugh too which is probably why i married her and not the 'Lady from (or of!) Stone'
