I HAVE ARRIVED AT THE VENUE AND JUST HAD A MEETING WITH THE GROUND STAFF AND THIS IS THE OUTCOME OF OUR MEETING. AT PRESENT THE FIELD IS STILL SOLID AND USABLE, BUT AS TODAY HAS GOT RAIN ALL DAY THE FIELDS CONDITIONS COULD CHANGE, THEREFORE WE HAVE DECIDED ALL VANS ARRIVING TOMORROW WILL BE PARKED ON HARDSTANDING WHEN YOU ARRIVE, AND POSSIBLY MOST OF THE DAY, THE FORECAST IS FINE WEATHER FROM TOMORROW LUNCH TIME FOR THE DURATION OF THE RALLY, SO WE WILL DO ANOTHER INSPECTION OF THE FIELD TOMORROW AFTERNOON AND THEN WE WILL MAKE THE DECISION WHETHER TO GO ON THE FIELD THURSDAY AFTERNOON OR FRIDAY AM. THERE IS PLENTY OF HARDSTANDING AVAILABLE, SO NOBODY WILL BE LEFT WITHOUT A SPACE. SAFE JOURNEY
If you are attending the follow on rally at Stone I have arranged it that we can stay here for the Tuesday evening, I am just awaiting confirmation that we can arrive at Stone on the Wednesday afternoon then it will save you looking for somewhere for a couple of nights ( This has now been confirmed, we can arrive on Wednesday afternoon), there is still a £11 per night charge at Hollingworth and £15 at Stone but that is the best I can do for you. If you are interested in this extra 2 days then please inform me or Lorraine on arrival at the Hollingworth Lake. Thank you

This is the late May bank holiday weekend
Littleborough Rugby Club ( Littleborough sports club ) , Hollingworth Lake, Littleborough, starting Thursday 25th May until Tuesday 30th May. Only 10 min off junction 21 M62, on the border with Lancashire and West Yorkshire, stunning location in the very heart of the Pennines.
Please note this is not the campsite on Rakewood road, drive past the campsite and it is next right after you drive past the old stone derelict mill, it is shown as Littleborough sports club on Google Maps. Also take care when driving down the single track road at the side of the lake, there are plenty of passing points if you do meet oncoming traffic, there will probably be lots of pedestrians walking down this road also so take it nice and easy
There are some lovely walks around the area and lake where you will find cafés, bars and restaurants
The Bar and clubhouse will be open for us Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 19.30pm, also your dog is welcome in the clubhouse but not in the snug room
Entertainment in the clubhouse
Thursday 20.00pm Social evening for chats and catch up's
Friday 20.00pm Social evening with light music
Saturday 20.00pm We will be using the snug room as the main room has got a private function
Sunday 20.00pm Linda's Quiz
