He has left us for the last time.

You have my sympathies

We are doing our annual month or three in Scotland and spent just over £1000 at the vets in Kerrimuir last week after one of our Corgis had stopped eating for three days and became increasingly lethargic.

Blood test showed she was extremely anaemic but after an overnight stay and multiple ultrasound scans and X-rays they’ve not found the cause of any possible internal bleeding, obstruction or mass etc.

We’ve currently got a cocktail of 5 drugs twice a day and there’s been a noticeable improvement in her appetite over the past couple of days however she’s still very weak and will get breathless quite quickly.

We are going back to the vets on Wednesday for another blood test, if the red cell count is still very low then we will head home, meanwhile she’s getting lots of cuddles and has taken advantage of sleeping on the couch instead of the cab with the other two dogs!
