Holidays are back from 12th April

i think the gov letters to vaccination hubs etc you get both dates , the gp referrals either text or phone call only normally make first appt

Ken is spot on.

Big authorised vax centres you get the date of second jab given when you go in for your first.

GPs, or smaller linked-up GP hubs, generally just give you first jab and will get back in touch when your second jab is due.

Wouldn't worry either way.
It's not like the vaccination programme is going to be all over in five minutes!

Also, I actually trust that my own GP surgery will get it right. (y)

Being not in uk i got an invite to book from my gp.
I emailed explaning we cannot yet return to Uk.
Got a prompt response CONFIRMINH 2aLL WILL BE OK
jUST contact them on return.
given the latest roadmap (eevn though it is not an "airmap"...
we are hopeful of a flight to uK sometime in late may with minimal repercusions/ self-isolation.
I know the pre-flight testing will be needed (Maybe forever (? no complaints !)
And we have a suitable (ie healthy and legal) plan if isolation is needed
Wait and see !
I think some easing of travel should come in with countries classesd as yellow amber and red.
i suggest thailand shuld be Yellow..It was restriction free until the latest clampdown.
Not actually planning or booking..but looking !

This may help. Link

This may happen on April 12th but it is not a definite date. Also the governments official document does not mention campsites reopening at all, to does however imply that domestic self contained holidays will be allowed.
Our new campsite boss is opening to self contained units on the 12th April if Gov say all ok with data and 17th May then for campers without own facilities. It will probably turn out to be the choice of the independent campsites as it was last year. There where many different operating ideas going on.

My RA specialist is trying to get my second jab brought forward so I can have my joint juice sooner as I should have had it January it will be just my luck that it will all fall into place the day we can play out. 😂

I had mine at my small surgery and was given the date of my second one while there so generalising doesn’t work. 😂

Normally, you are notified of the second jab date when you go along for the first one Bill.
That's what happened when I had my first jab. I left with a date for the second jab which was exactly 12 weeks after the first one even got the same appointment time ;)

Regards,
Del

Keep getting reminders for David's first jab. Cos he's had the virus, I don't want it to aggravate his immune system, plus we don't know how to fit it in with his next immunotherapy treatment.....waiting to hear from his oncologist. Btw, he was still testing positive a month after first diagnosis.

I am in Navenby to the South of Lincoln, I had my Oxford Astra Zenca jab at Waddington on the 2nd February since when I have received no notification of my 2nd appointment, however the bums rush is that just when I would like to going away on or around the 12th April, that is exactly when I am expecting to be called in for my second dose!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had mine at big hub (20 booths) run by Conglomerate of local GP s card with second jab date on 3 months same time . Oxford jab .

Second jabs? You should be so lucky! (y):)

Some of our friends over the border to the north are having a long wait to get that first jab and no idea when that will be.
I've got no idea when my second jab will be either, but I don't mind a bit.

I'm not complaining about the delay it might cause.
That'll be a slight delay - perhaps days, weeks, a month? - not a 20 year jail sentence.

We might be going stir crazy, but we're still alive right now, and I'm pretty grateful just for that (y)

Yes, all the dates in the roadmap are conditional on so many things. Up to all of us to make sure we keep up the good work (y)
What's really strange about the campsite issue is that it doesn't appear in the 60-page document but it does appear in the document summary... also available on the .gov website. Odd one

Pretty par for the course, though! What is a covid plan without inconsistencies....
