Is it worth renewing CAMC membership?

Nope. My membership renewal DD was taken 1st May...

Got my CAMC Magazine through the post today 😴 . The letters never say anything critical, so I read them just to scoff; but there was a letter of thanks for getting a free life membership after 50 years!! So it could happen, after all. Only a couple to go!
 
I am content to keep paying.(C&CC)
We only motorhome in the summer (6 month full) and either wildcamp or go abroad.
But we do use their certified sites in April and September when EHU etc is handy
our renewal was due in January but this will be delayed until April
So can change my mind if it suits. I hope they will enforce minimum distancing etc
But in effect that is mainly for me to comply when deciding where to pitchup.
With suitable care waste disposal and fresh water are easy to do safely.
IMO the smaller site should be safer !
With onboard facilities showers and toilets can be avoided.
Nida always uses our facilities anyway.. depending on quality aand convenience I used to use site facilities..but will probably avoid ahead !
Withour the Certified sites we woould struggle to enjoy our time in the vehicle in the UK...so £50 well invested !

Renewal due and they are asking full price for membership of a club which has no open sites and obviously cannot tell you when they will be open. A bit of a cheek I think.
Problem is I have insurance through them as well as greencard recovery, neither of which I will be using and no doubt both of which will again be full price to renew.
Now I dont mind supporting good causes by paying my way during difficult times but CAMC???
