Mini airfryer

Can I ask a few questions about it Jeff? We have a large Tefal Actifry in the house which we have been using for a few years now but at this price it may be worth a punt in the MH.

Do you know what wattage it is?
What are physical dimensions? ...'ish' would do.

...and most importantly, what have you cooked in it and how did that go? As you only got it yesterday presumably not much yet.
Hi Graham it's a 900watt and I only bought so I can do chips in the van size wise you can get two portions of chip in it 6in x 6in x 3in .

But I bet you are all cooking frozen chips not proper ones lol

ait fryer not bad at doing sweet potato chips/slices but then again so is the ridge monkey so all year round food :)

And... a genny is cheaper to run that van engine, just saying lol

Of course they’d be oven chips. Can you imagine the carnage created in the van with Jeff, or me , using boiling hot fat.
I’d need the emergency services on speed dial.
Neil, do you ever read what you’ve typed before posting? lol.

Not for the van BUT swapped our previous kitchen tefal actifry for one of these ...

Absolute game changer ...

can be used as 2 single ovens with indepentant time/temp
Or one large oven ...
Cook's everything better, faster and using less electric than the main oven .
Great purchase .

You can do freshly made chips in an airfryer just fine as well, Neil.
Here is something I have just realised this past week or so ... Frozen chips loose loads of weight after cooking. A 400g lot of chips into the cooker come ok weighing around 275g! (never noticed this until started weighing food portions for the OH to log on her food app).

What works really well in an Air Fryer are the tinned New Potatoes. Make superb mini-roasties. I buy the cheapest "value" line ones I can find, so usually around 35p for a very good sized portion. Highly recommended and being tinned super easy to just keep tucked away in the cupboard

Seems air fryers are loosing popularity, so many bargains to be had now, we succomed to the trend about a year ago and bought one £99 rotisory and 3 shelves wife loves it but have since bought 3 more smaller ones single basket £5 each at the boot sales and all as new, gave one away and use one and one spare , so when things start turning up this cheap at the booties it means they are falling in popularity we think but we use ours a lot so quick and easy, not keen of chips in them though, prefer mine fried in oil but bone of contention with my wife so I just grin and bear it if given air fried ones hee hee, air fryers getting cheaper in all the shops too?
