No van, ( Or house ), should be without Gorilla glue and Gorilla tape.

Got both, along side a electrician screwdriver and a club hammer.
None of the above would have sorted the water pump.
The club hammer could have done some damage if the problem persisted, 😡
 
Del yiu should go for a shurflo pump and do away with them micro switch taps they are a wast of space and expensive.
Don’t forget, Demi, like me, is getting on a bit. I’m really not sure the plumbing would take the constant pressure, again, like me. If the memory worked all the time, not just sometimes, I’d use Wildebus’s idea of turning the water pump of every time I used it.
It would save a fortune on buying replacement taps. The micro switch ones are like hen’s teeth.
 
I mustn't be posh enough, we've never had a van with switched taps.

I've just replaced the bathroom tap in the van on to my 4th lolol 12 quid it's not that they have broke its I keep changing my mind lololol.
