Post a picture of your motorhome.

Our old girl. 1994 Talbot Express 1300P with a Compass Calypso habitation area.

Two birth, either two singles or one king size double.
Shower/toilet/basin wetroom and a full cooker. Three way fridge and sink/drainer. Hot and cold running water. Fiamma electric skylight and LED lighting. Gaslow system, solar, power steering and cruise control added. I have also put four USB ports in and two secret compartments. And it has a kill switch! It is so well hidden, last time i used it, I couldn't find it to turn it off! We have just had the cab refurbed.

Minus points? It is slow! Having to make up the bed every night. Less storage that a larger vehicle and that means frugality with what we take with us. No rear seatbelts. Cannot fit a drive away awning because the door is at the back and very high. We do have one but it is not successful!

Plus points? It is slow! I can park in a standard car parking space. I can go down roads that some larger vehicles can't. It has everything we need on board and it has NO TV! I have a bluetooth speaker for the music on Google Play Music. Oh and it looks cute! . It has a generous weight allowance. We always run it 200 kilo lower than max.

We have toyed with the idea of getting a newer one, but "lots of money" versus "we have all we need!" And of course, we do love the old girl.

Here is my self built 'Millie', this was my first self build and I did it on a quite old van with the mind set that if we liked her, then we would sell her and buy either a new or very nearly new panel van and convert that one.

But we love her so much and next to no one would want to steal her, so getting on for 5 years since the build we still have her and love every single thing about her dents and all and we have used the £30 k or more that we have saved by not converting another one on other important matters !!

Prior to my build I carried out an enormous amount of research into converted panel vans and every single person I spoke to said their number one problem was the lack of storage room which is why 'Millie' has her very practical rear storage shed.

Lots of nice motorhomes, but what about the OPs question ...."... with brief description of motorhome. Fors and against and why you like it"?
Oops, re post 8 ( Burstner)
Van is 7.5m length, 3850kg with just over 750kg payload.

What we like.

Everything, but especially.....
Large heated garage area with access from both sides.
Euro 6 engine so no restrictions on entering emission zones UK or EU
Underfloor storage areas with heated double floor, so no cold feet.
Separate shower and separate toilet. Can be closed off from the rest of the van to make a self contained bathroom
Very comfortable island bed with lots of storage.
Electric drop down double bed, in case we take anyone away with us, front side sofas convert to 2 belted travelling seats with tables
Comfortable seating for 6-8 in the front lounge
Very efficient heating system with 12 hot air outlets including 2 in the garage and warm floor
Lots of storage cupboards with soft close drawers and led lights everywhere, including night time floor lighting and moveable spotlights everywhere.
Self seeking sat dish with Freesat and TNT ( French TV)
Solar panel (100w) and twin leisure batteries.
Extra wide hab door with sliding fly screen
Good looking van inside and out and 28mpg!

What we don’t like...

nothing, not found anything we would change and nothing has gone wrong or broken

It's reliable, warm, comfortable, Bohemian and a self-build, and sometimes I change things, I have just replaced the carpeted ceiling with tongue and groove which has freshened it up some. I do expect to have to shell out for new components as time goes by, but I don't think new vehicles have the appeal that older vehicles have.

Don’t know why it doubled up on the photos ?

I’ve sorted it, hope that’s what you wanted. 2cv
