Had it done last year, 12 samples for me also the transperineal one, had to be put to sleep though as a bit partial to anything going up me jacksey

Had several pees since and just a touch of blood with the first one but nowt after that lol

I'd not do anything, err more vigorous for a while though.

3 years for me. Sadly stage 4, Gleason 8, which isn’t a good number. It’s escaped somewhere but they can’t find it, although I’m now getting neck pains.
But so far so good, still motorhoming, in fact without my own loo I’d never leave home. Unfortunately the radiotherapy burnt a part of my bowels so a bit of planning first thing required before I can venture out or accidents happen.
Worse thing for me is the 3 to 6 times a night I wake for a wee. Luckily I can get back to sleep easily.
Just finished the last planned intervention, just got to wait for December for a blood test to see what it’s doing. I felt secure being treated, but now I just wait wondering if the little devil is multiplying.

Snap similar condition as me travels from prostrate to lymph node and further but as yet not found, regular tested psa 0.5 last time.
The good thing is our nhs is brilliant in coventry area went to see doctors 3 weeks ago with bowl pain. Got me in camra up bottom all good.

Locally here also NHS has been great (probably like you, I’m not very needy!).
They say it’s good to talk, I don’t, I’m glad I wrote this post because I thought I was the only one with neck pains, thought it was just me. So I’ve not really mentioned it. I’m not glad you have them too but I’m glad I’m not alone with these symptoms. Makes me feel better.

It's why I started this thread, we don't need to talk so much as do something about things and not let them get out of hand, wimmin are so much better at this stuff.

Wife and daughter insist on coming to consultations and ask questions I'd never think of. Good to know they've got my back. Started on tablets this week, injections along the way. Op on Thursday for something they found in my bladder.Apart from that, I'm feeling fine. Had the best crop of tomatoes since 1976.

Following this topic with interest. I got admitted to the Vic in kirkcaldy 7.30 Friday got out 4pm yesterday minus a prostate. Feeling ok and glad that part is over. It really isn't as daunting as you think. Glad I got out so soon ,the foods yucky, just need lots of TLC, Cath's going to be busy lol
