What about the new smelly they are selling called"VI Pooh Spray" I thought it was a wind up but no it is for real, they are now suggesting you buy as christmas pressies for friends and family:Flushed_Face_Emoji::Tears_of_Joy_Emoji:

Not so much the product itself, more the container it came in....

My mrs bought some loo cleaner and it had the words "Now with multijet technology" printed across the label.

This meant it had 3 holes in the nozzle instead of one!

As you say absolutely everything is now a special Christmas present. Panty liners, dining room suite, breasts, a holiday, paint, tea bags, etc. etc.

I bought a spirilizer for doing my veg as it looked good on the advert. Total rubbish.

Might be controversial, but I don't like the child friendly lids........ Cos I can't open them.:Very_sad_emoji_icon

The video is very informative if you mute the sound. The camera options are infinite.

I agree! That's a really interesting bit of technology, Ray.

We have that in the office I'm currently in - a more horrible chemical smell masquerading as 'perfume' you couldn't find.

This is absolutely true!
Fish knives and forks. These were invented by the cutlery trade when everyone had bought their cutlery sets to make the manufacturers a few more bob.
Think Apple might have copied this marketing plan!

I whole-heartedly agree with you, Spacerunner. 100% Purposeless Products.
Thanks for that.

Got one just like that, but cos i'm a leftie it can be a problem to use.

I've got something similar and it can definitely be used by left handers as well, yorkslass.
It should be used up the other way to remove the bottom of the tin. Strange but true - I've just done it!

I use the oven sheets in crafting when I am playing with inks and papers making backgrounds - dont use them in the oven.

Are you using the oven sheets because they are useable at high temperatures, CardMaker or because they are easily cleaned?

Thanks, teejay. I have something similar which I bought some time ago and would now like another, but my version is no longer available. The photos show the opener, the cutter and the end of a can as removed. The cutter goes through the outer part of the rolled metal of the lid leaving only smooth metal on both lid and can. Does your opener do the same? If so, can you advise where I might get one?

Many thanks,

Colin :smile::smile::smile:

Hi Colin

Yes they are indeed most useful!! Yes mine does the same. I am given to believe that most can tops are actually glued onto the tins and this kind of opener separates the glued top from the tin by leverage. They are freely available. I got my last one from Ebay. If you go on there and search for safety can opener, there are many to choose from-take your pick and enjoy!

Not good for soup or anything gloopy without a safety bowl as well!!

I thought that YOU were the one doing the wind up, CardMaker so checked on line. Airwick make it, it can be found on Amazon - and it's well worth looking at the advertising for a really good laugh!
And the reviews, as you'd expect, are something else!
PLEASE have a look, everyone. It can be found here.
