Non MPPT 10A solar regulator lost battery connection over at least a week and a section of regulator had burnt out.guess it couldn't cope with open circuit solar power.take care!!!
That's not right. The solar circuit was not open circuit. The battery circuit was open circuit, or at least it should have been. If the controller has burned out, it's more likely that the battery circuit was short-circuited, or reconnected the wrong way round.
