Sorry, I did not mean to offend, but the promotion of certain elements offends me, and that was one of them.
so just before I go to bed

days

Sunshine Superman

Days. Special track.
Featured on the Radio 4 series, Soul Music..( dip into the vast playlist on BBC Sounds..)
Our oldest friend was on his deathbed, after a long , slow decline to Parkinson's.
We were remembering the good times, as the programme played.
At the final note, the phone rang with the sad news.
We flew back to a sad, restricted, February funeral.
The family had asked me to say a few words.
As I stood up ,Days faded in.
I based the eulogy on all the good days. Events, memories, funnies.
It still brings a lump in our throats, 10 months later.
Superman..
Beatles..
Not a second time.

An unusual and mellow version, I have the record but this is so much better (in my 'umble opinion)

Well I've just switched on the puter (cos there's nowt on the telly and Sue is just about to go to bed) and there's no new music, so I'll try and kick start it

Culture corner..
We arrived a Guirmaries, totally at random, to spend a weekend, breaking our journey from UK.
Found out the Star tenor was doing a Gig there, Saturday night....
90€ we'll spent..
Just for the memories..
Granada..
( Ps...
You nearly got Clive Dunn's immortal..
Grandad.)..

Granada.. ( We've had a couple of those----------when we were posh!!)
Seriously though, what a fabulous tenor and I don't know how to compete with that, my classical stuff is mostly orchestral.
I was going to post Albaniz, then I remembered this sweet love song

"Its the weekend" or at least that's what I used to think on Fridays when this came out ........
