The first response supported your concern but didn't elicit even a thank you or like.
As you say the drift into the hoary old chestnut of "scrap the BBC as its rubbish" started.
It may not be the spirit of the board but unfortunately any mention of the BBC does bring out those who don't want to pay for it!
Many of whom "never watch it" but seem to be very familiar with its output
Hopefully anyone who has been sent something like your initial email has taken on board your warning.

Sorry Mark, my number of posts comment was referring to the total posts greytop has made on this board, not even just this thread.
I think you're right about the mention of BBC drawing out the people who moan about it though.
