Hi I have a Burstner Nexxo Family 660. Based on Ford transit mk7 (2008).
The tyres are pretty old Continental Contact 100's Size is 215/75/R16. They spin when pulling away on a slope on damp roads.
I have two questions I need help with....
1. If travelling in summer months to the continent do I still need Alpine rated all season tyres?
2. Is there a budget option that anyone can recommend to replace these tyres?

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Answer to both questions is: NO.
I can recommend Michelin Agilis Cross-Climate (215/75/R16 fitted a few years ago to the front wheels on my Hobby on a Transit Mk7 and will have them on all four wheels when the rears are replaced.

No problem in Summer I put two new tyres on mine in April last year and did over 4k in France, my go to for tyres for a few years now is blackcircle.com unless you live on the moon they will have a fitter near you.

I got these.

No problems despite it being very wet on some of the twistier hilly bits & I would buy them again

I've recently put those on the front of our 6m pvc Kev, nice and quiet compared to the contis that came off. Very pleased with them.

Tried that and it wouldnt let me.

Looks like theses are going to be my next set of tyres they are made by UniRoyal Screenshot_20250131-210058_Samsung Internet.jpg

Not bad prices for a local place, half mine for two, almost worth driving down to get my next ones :D :D

I looked to see if there was one near me but it looked like only Swindon, do you have a link to the website?

It's 218 miles from me.
