Water pump - help!

Well for £10 delivered next day it'd be daft not to carry a spare waterpump, so not such a bad thing that it chose to have a night off! 😉

It stopped working again today. Pump checked out okay but when I closed the cupboard door which houses the Elecktroblock the pump suddenly started up, so it was just a bad block connection there. Mystery solved! 😀

At the risk of triggering a complete electrical shut down it might be worth considering pulling out and refuting all the electoblock connectors?
Definitely a job for the morning though 😀

That's weird it's just started working again! 😳
If it's a submersible pump they have a habit of stopping. We have one in out thetford toilet. Each time it stops I go to get the new one from my spares box. By the time I return to the toilet it works again! I guess small flakes of limescale get stuck in the rotor.

This happened to me last year, turned out the chain attached to the small plulug for draining the water tank had come adrift and the pump sucked the chain into the impeller. Simply gently pulled out the chain and all was sorted.
