Until our health problems we always went to Palm Desert, Ca at this time of year for a month. Just checked the weather there, no smug filter would be able to cope!

Up early for a walk as it was bright, dry and with a light southerly breeze. Returned home as the clouds thickened and the drizzle started. Now it's only 7 degrees and chucking it down.

Early start with frost and beautiful thick cloud lying in the valleys like a river. The moderate SE breeze will replace the bright morning with more cloud and increasingly heavy rain.

Forecast was spot on yesterday, beautiful morning and early afternoon and the it literally rained on cue towards the end of the lemon parade in Menton. Overnight rain continues but drying up later this afternoon, hopefully!! Down to 7° at the moment.
