Six years ago today the Beast from the East froze the UK. We were forced to stay an extra week just North of San Diego.

I'd prefer the Beast from the East, at least the garden would be firm and not a quagmire ....... and we live on the side of a hill.

A moderate southerly breeze will bring light showers throughout the day, with an 8 degree high. My mower can't compete with Bill's robot and remains in its shed a little longer.

Thick snow at Cabrach making driving difficult as it was lying on the road when we came home from Findhorn today. Lovely and sunny but a cool 7deg at home now.
