Weather Report..................

Lovely start in Charleville-Mezier so decided to chill for a couple of hours before tucking some more northern miles under our belts. Been sunny intervals all day with a high of 22°. Now at Orlieux for the night. Decided on a slight detour to Lille in the morning. We need two replacement inner frames and screens for Dometic mini heki rooflights. Can't find them cheaper than around £120 from UK dealers, the accessory shop in Lille has them for €64 ........... crazy!!
Few pics from C-M yesterday...

We did get a little misty drizzle.

Possibly a good old fashioned thunderstorm, later?

Dined at a nearby restaurant. Grandma's. Kitchen.

Stunning pastas wonderful puddings.

Richie Sunak joined us, hot off the plane.

Enjoyed his starter and the wine . Then scarpered, before the main course arrived.🙃

Back at Cap Gris-Nez waiting for the Chunnel ....... extra layers duly donned, its breezy and struggling to get above 17°, just getting acclimatised for Cheshire. Stopping at The Drum tonight back home tomorrow.
Dave, Cap Gris-Nez, what is the low down in this place, never stopped there before?

We only used it as a lay over, you can't overnight according to the signs, but I don't know how closely its checked. You don't get any views from the car parks, two have height barriers but the third is dedicated to motorhomes and coaches. Its a short walk to the cliffs and viewpoints ....
