Chilly start, but bonny day ahead in Devon

Taters overnight, but today will be dry and very sunny with a 12 degree high. (BBC 'Hurricanes' have dissipated from all of Sussex).

Sunny start but much cooler with a fresh breeze, topping out at 19° ....... back in Cheshire reports of an overnight frost.

Buffeted all night by windy rainstorms.
Had to be up for 6am, for our guest's flight. Murky misty rainy dawn. Then learnt that her flight was delayed at BHX by 90 minutes.
Lovely calm blue overhead. No wind. 23 degrees.
She's sunning herself, outside Faro Airport. Mission completed.l
Looks like Kirk has not finished with us yet.
It's due to rain stair-rods all afternoon and tonight....
