It’s been an absolutely gorgeous day up here today. Started off with the first frost of the season (-2) then full sunshine all day long. Back to a cold evening now that the sun has gone down. Got loads of work done outside. Not bad for the domestic solar harvesting and got the little Fiat 500e charged up for free!

Overcast, humid with a light shower at lunchtime, so that's 20° and sticky ........ lunch stop on the bike ride....

Them pink birds, will turn pinker when the stop off on the saltpans of The Algarve feasting on shrimps.

Then they go down south for a spell and have a better class of diet.
They're really blushing on their way back.
Big surprise, weather-wise..
It's been a cracking sunny afternoon.

Headed off early doors in the car to drop it off at Dinnet for its MoT. Misty, cool and atmospheric. Caught the bus back to Banchory and unusually for me decided to take the top deck. The sun came out and great views over the River Dee and the Cairngorms which now have a fair amount of snow on the tops.

Heavy overnight rain, still windy with a possible thunderstorm later, temperatures holding up at 21°. Yesterday afternoon saw the fire planes out for training runs.
