Meanwhile at the other extremity our daughter in law managed to get back to Guernsey from a night out in Jersey on the only flight that landed this morning. She says it’s an excellent way to get rid of a hangover.

Wild night in Bristol, still have a 40 mph westerly gusting to 68 mph and a stay indoors warning, temperature is 7° but a real feel of -5° in the wind. Might follow the advice .

Some trees down around here but 99% of roads ok, rain has eased along with heavy winds, sheep have removed life belts and weights.
