Weather Report..................

It's been quite variable here in the upper Loire region with rain showers, dark skies then blue patches etc, etc.
This afternoon we settled by the Loire overlooking the Briare Aqueduct, until 2003 the longest navigable aqueduct in the world at 662 metres long. The aqueduct takes the Canal Latéral à la Loire over the Loire.
Whilst we settled the weather markedly improved:

Just Cabin Fever, Lee.
Sitting inside... Eating inside.. It's not natural.. . Innit ?
Cured this morning, though.
Blue skies and sunshine just breaking through, after a damp drizzly night.
All doors and windows open. Looks set fair, says the forecast .
We're not putting the umbrellas away yet, though.

It started off with this morning with blue skies and sunshine then it put in grey,..then it started to rain not too much then we had brilliant sunshine!

This morning we woke to rain and it pretty much stayed with us until mid afternoon here at Sully-sur-Loire. Then the sun appeared, warmed us and rapidly dried the surface water away.
About 1600 things went in reverse. There was distant thunder, ever blackening skies and lightening:

Finally a humdinger of a storm with flashes, crashes and bangs.
And hailstones.
And torrential rain.
