Thanks, Ken. Is that southern Spain on the Mediterranean side? Perhaps Andalucia?
I'm thinking of pottering down for a break in January, when I guess the weather will be similar to now, though the sea colder (?).

It's actually rained overnight here on the Canary Islands - though not much. There's been a sunrise but not as we know it, Jim. It's currently overcast but looks like it'll clear as the temperature climbs.

It's stayed overcast but the temperature climbed to 26°C resulting in a warm breeze which dryed the rock garden out a treat.

Sunny in Moffat

First frost here in Surrey since 23march, bloody cold walking the dog

We had frost in Hertfordshire earlier this autumn. The first scrape of the year is always a shock to the fingers.
On the BBC website I see that plenty of cold is forecast for the next week or so.

In the meantime the Canary Islands are 27°C and breezy with a hazy sun. It's difficult to endure but I'm doing my best.
