Blue skies and sunny in my little part of Yorkshire I think a trip out to the shops today to get some fresh air.

Coffee on the Mezzanine, watching fascinating cloud movements. High level ones moving in from the NE, lower ones going from NW and then being diverted Westerly, on the coast.
How anyone can concoct a weather forecast, I just don't know.
Lunch on the upper terrace, sunglasses and tee shirt are in action. Cricket on the radio.

A brisk northerly has blown in.

It was reported that it was 4 degrees at 7.30..
I could have told her that without going outside and attempting to bring it back into our warm bed.

It looks like a lovely, bright day out there.
As the forecast is for 11 max, I'm staying in, hugging a Dimplex.
I don't care if that Swedish lass gets upset..

It's still and about 3°C with patches of blue above Hertfordshire.
So it'll be a chilly but enjoyable bike ride around the lanes today.

The walk was very invigorating.
Especially as I was wearing Thermals, three layers of jumpers, hat scarf, gloves and sunglasses.
The wind eased, the temperature rose to a sweltering 12 degrees, so we lunched on the terrace.
Difficult to eat a sandwich, wearing gloves..
We're inside now heating on ..
