Alas, the Tonic has arrived at lidl.
We lashed out on a bottle of their cooking gin.
Won't be able to sample it until I'm off the antibiotics.

Overnight rain but started bright and 9 degrees, however showers have arrived now the washing line is full

If only that would work for us...!
We had the last proper rain 7 weeks ago.
That's 20 washes..

700 litres.. I think... ?
We've collected less than 50 litres of grubby drizzle.
Gotta come sometime...!

Oh yer great fairy-----------------------I did g&t with Tramadol and when I woke up all my pain was gone, as were my legs, arms and bladder control, go on, be a hero

It's patchy blue (glass half full) or patchy cloud (glass half empty) in Hertfordshire with a gentle breeze.
Rain from the west is predicted to join us later today so I guess a morning bike ride is the most sensible option for me.

It's bright and breezy and 21 degrees in the sheltered shade.
Considerably warmer stretched out on the sun lounger.
Looking up at Swallows , who have suddenly arrived.
Management fussing about.
Amoxicillin seems be kicking in .

Whilst I have every sympathy, Chris, I'd like to mention that, shamed by Dave's post about doing a heap of outside jobs before rain arrives later today, I cut the grass and cleared yet more leaves from the garden before heading up here on the bike to Dunstable Downs.
So please do me a huge favour and keep the rain in Devon.
I don't deserve rain later today.
