It's sunny and chilly in Herts right now. Hail showers are supposed to be falling on us as I type but I had rather expected them to need clouds to fall from!
I'm not complaining.

Cloudy, gentle SW breezes. Hazy sunlight filtering through .
Pressure forecast to drop and they say we should have over 70mm of rain between Tuesday and Friday.
We might just have enough water in the cisterns to get by.
Hope they have got it right for once.

So.. It would break my heart to pay to have a tractor load of hard water brought up: then it rains.
We're using a yogurt pot with a small hole in the bottom, for showers...
And flushing the loo with a bucket and tea spoon.

Only 17 degrees in San Diego, but it’s only 4 in the morning. A chance of a shower later. We are here and just north for a few days before heading to Palm Desert. We may be over here a while if the flights ban from Europe spreads!

Yep, it’s raining up in Northumberland as well, Lindisfarne has disappeared into the murk, at least the wind is backing off now.
