We had a light covering of water just before sunrise but it's been dry since and gradually getting brighter.
It's already 13°C and...............oh, the sun has joined me as I type!
Must rush - there's scones to take out of the oven for afternoon coffee once outdoor exercise has been done and I've earned the privilege.

Good news:
The deluge expected overnight, turned to be just drizzle.
Up at 6.15 to connect the Cisterns, after 30 minutes of light rain....

Which finished 30 minutes later.
200 litres collected and the garden watered.

It was nearly worth the effort

Light westerly breezes, intermittent sunbursts.
Could be worse.

Foul weather warning:
Strong southerly winds will bring coastal floods.
As we're 700ft above sea level, I won't be putting out the sandbags..

We have 6 degrees too, probably cos the winds gorn northerly. Bonus is it's stopped raining.

It's a healthy 9°C in Hertfordshire with still air.
It's dry, but ....................... the grey is definitely getting darker.
