Thanks Lee , We'll raise a glass to Absent Friends and remember the good times together.
The Piri piri chicken may be banned.. Remember all those noisy people, crammed round small tables, enjoying themselves..?
It'll be even more packed if they have to put tarpaulins up, because of the rain.
It's the Carnation Revolution weekend, the locals really celebrate that..
We had some light drizzle, overnight and it looks ominous.
But not enough yet to clean off the roof and start collecting water.
So,... Yes we want rain, but not tomorrow, please.

A bright start t the day here in west Wales. No rain again and 15 degrees or so forecast. It got up to 18 degrees yesterday which was lovely. Still a coolness to the wind though.

The market is set up.. stalls, protected by tarpaulins

Forecast was for strong showers.
We had a good sharp shower at 0200. It stopped at 0215. I went out to connect up the cisterns.

Collected all of 5 litres, overnight.
Sunshine over the market field, dark clouds all round.. No wind to shift it.

Another warm sunny day in prospect, we may even be one of the warmest spots in the UK today. It’s the annual “Drive It Day” today where old cars come out of hibernation. Our club is having it’s run next week as cafes will then be open, but we’ll go out today for a little jaunt in the 2cv.
