Still, calm and grey in Sorbie .... the swallows are flying at very low altitude ... not a good sign, still we are sitting out and its 17° with brighter weather promised for the weekend.

Looks set in for the day so won’t be venturing out today apart from dog walks.

The sky over Herts is looking unhappy right now with more clouds arriving to reduce the number of blue patches and the prospect of rain showers this afternoon.
I'm a little disappointed.
But I'll cope.

Fair weather all the way home from Norfolk, now it's turned drizzly in CTL

After overnight rain and a dry morning walk, it has now reached a pleasant 19°C.

Sadly we are due torrential rain with the possibility of thunderstorms all afternoon & evening. We are getting used to it.

There was little afternoon rain and no thunderstorms.

I simply don't know how the Met Office can be so wrong.

Still, on the plus side, managed to work out of doors and tidy up the 6ft thick laurel hedge.

Bloody Yorkshire Day.. 20 degrees, broken clouds . Never been this cold, in August, since the words ," Warming " and " Global", were first used together in the same sentence... I've had to break out me winter Speedos.

Much improved in Garlieston, sunny intervals and 17°, lovely walk along the coast this morning. Forecast improving for next few days as well, shame as we are heading home tomorrow

Herts has unbroken blue overhead this morning with an air temperature of 15°C.
So I'll be addressing some outdoor jobs followed by a well-earned bike ride around the tracks and lanes.
